We wanted badly to visit the Mirror Lake! But we didn't reach the final point! As April 6th the road was closed due a lot of snow! We drove about 18 mile on very clean road and then stopped. There are nice views to stop and photograph, portable toilets but you better bring your food with you for your lunch.... More

Beautiful drive great fishing and camping. Dont stop at Bear River Lodge they are a very dishonest establishment. Wont be able to use there restrooms if your not staying at there cabins. Would not give business to them ever!!

Absolutely a drive to see before you die! One of the most beautiful pristine places on earth. Millions of primitive acres to look over from Mount Baldy. Mirror Lake is Stunning!

a great day-trip from Park City! The road weaves through forests up to Bald Mountain Pass (over 10,000 feet), passing by Provo River Falls and scenic pull-outs to enjoy the expansive views. Nice photo op with a sign at the highest point at Bald Mountain Pass. Mirror Lake is beautiful! The waterside trail is pleasant. There were other cars in... More

This was the high light of our visit. The scenery was gorgeous and their had been a light snow making the area look like a scene from a Thomas Kincade picture.

We took the beautiful Mirror Lake Scenic Byway and while we totally missed the fall foliage, we enjoyed the beautiful mountain vistas. We took the road from Park City, stopped at several scenic vistas and then circled back to Park City via Evanston, WY. Lots of picnic spots too. We heartily recommend this drive! Beautiful!

We hiked up bear creek trail and it was beautiful!!! All the leaves were changing as you can tell from the pictures. Lots of cows and cow dung on the trail as it seems to be an open pasture area. It's a dog friendly trail so our pooches came too. There was signage that a permit is required for parking... More

Good roads, beautiful drive to an equally beautiful lake! Watch for a pull off area on the left as you head toward the lake where you can walk down to the stream trickling down the mountain with little waterfalls every several yards.Highly recommend this drive.

Well spent time driving the mountain roads to Mirror Lake. The road travels through valleys and mountains covered in many different types of trees which were just turning color when we were there in early September. Take a jacket though as the area by the lake is quite a bit cooler than Park City. It's a two lane road most... More
