Overview
More
Providing others with a memorable experience is at the heart of Heber Valley Artisan Cheese, a small family dairy farm and creamery nestled in the quaint community of Midway, Utah. For nearly 100 years the Kohler family has been producing premium milk – pure, rich & creamy – to delight their consumers. In 2011, the family built a new creamery and began using their farm’s milk to handcraft and age artisan cheese. Today, visitors can stop by the farm store to sample fresh cheese & handcrafted fudge daily; purchase raw milk, fresh & aged cheeses, handcrafted jam, fudge, cookies and candy. Or grab some famous Aggie Ice Cream, a fresh grilled cheese sandwich or a nice bowl of soup - and enjoy it in our store or on the patio.

I had to stop. I love cheese curds. I'm traveling, I constantly eating or drinking something behind the wheel. Got some curds for the drive and they were great. My wife got some ice cream when we stop and it was good, too. They had...More

We hope our 12 varieties of curd caused a good confusion - hopefully more like a died-and-gone-to-heaven daze. We make our curds fresh twice a week - so we hope you'll stop by again soon!

Thank you for your awesome review of our mozzarella making class. For those interested we generally offer these classes once a quarter. We appreciated the honest feedback about Heather's soft voice (we'll get her a mic) and the unavailable mozzarella kits. We hope you'll visit...More

We were visiting Homestead crater and had some time before so stopped in. There selection of different cheeses was impressive. We tried the samples but settled on something different. A cheddar with orange and rosemary, it was very good and unusual. From the reviews I...More

Thanks for your great review - and yes, we do not make our own ice cream - its sourced through Utah State University and lovingly named Aggie Ice Cream. Locals love it, and we do too!

We stopped in for the cheese tour and tasting recently, and it was a blast. I learned that these cows have their own nutritionist, and how cheddar is made. The tasting part was a chance to sample 20 different cheeses that are made here and...More

Taste it and you will want more! Lots of samples to try. Really good selection of fresh, flavorful cheese. We also bought locally made jam and wished we had got more. Although we did not try the ice cream, those who did really enjoyed it.

If you're passing thru Midway, you really need to stop in and try some of their cheeses. All are made their at their facilities. Be sure too to get a ice cream cone of one of their tasty choices. Highly recommended.

We went here to buy cheese and left with more, including pickles, jam, salsa and a locally made, natural solid perfume. The cheese selection was intriguing. We chose the lemon sage cheddar after tasting a sample of the curds.
