We decided to do the all day trip, which entailed doing the basic trail in the morning and then after 1/2 hour break we went out into the back country to do the mystery mountain tour. For me this was the best part as we got to see a great deal more of the area. The terrain is very bumpy... More

Really enjoyed the sunrise tour of Monument Valley through Sandstone Tours. Our guide was very knowledgeable on the monuments as well as the movies filmed in the valley. It was beautiful seeing the sunrise over the valley and to see the stones turn a bright orange and brown color. The vehicle we were in was an open-air type truck so... More

We were lucky and were the only guests on the sunset tour. The name "sunset tour" is a bit misleading as the tour goes on after sunset. The guide took as to almost every stone in the valley, answered questions and gave good tips for taking fotos. Overall the tour was 3,5h, which due to the morning time is not... More

08.00 hrs start just as well by end of tour 10.30hrs it was hot. Great to see real time and have the significance of the valley to the Navajo nation explained. Also some of the views from the classic films of John Ford. Well worth the money and saves damaging your own vehicle.

Early start for the sunrise tour, but so worth it! A fantastic tour, great mix of being driven around the valley but with many opportunities to get out and explore the area. My favourite part was that just before sunrise, we were driven to a point and told to follow the trail and wait until sunrise. We were able to... More

We went there after a snow storm, the dirt road was muddy and covered with snow and ice. Our guide Jasper handled the situation very well. He's also very nice and knowledgable. Highly recommend.

We did the all day 6 hour tour that takes in Monument Valley in the morning, and the Mystery Valley in the afternoon. It was off season (October) when we went, and we were pleasantly surprised to find ourselves the only couple on the tour, which was led by Frank. What can I say. It was fantastic. Monument Valley is... More

The guide was very nice and accommodating. We happened to get lucky and there was no one else on our jeep so we had a personal tour. Well worth the price to go off the main road where you could just drive your own car. You go way back into the valley.
