For 50 years this stately and historic depot served as a major hub for transcontinental rail service. Today, it remains a monument to grand rail stations of the early 20th-century and includes four museums: the Utah State Railroad Museum, the Natural History Museum, the Browning Kimball Car Museum and the Browning Firearms Museum.

We didn't get to the art gallery, but saw the western museum (small and not especially interesting), the railroad museum (large and extremely interesting), the browning gun museum (only go if you really really love guns) and the classic car museum. This last was terrific! Only @10 cars but beautifully restored and very interesting. What made it especially great was... More

At $4 for seniors and $5 for adults this offers a variety of items at a very reasonable price. The John Browning Arms Museum is the most extensive of the four. The gun cases can be view from both sides so you can see both sides of the gun. The Browning Auto museum is not very large, but all the... More

What a nice visit! Four museums in one location for just $5. Very interesting and great views of the mountains as backdrop against historic 25th Street.

The same building holds museums devoted to trains, cars, and John Browning, the firearms designer. The Browning museum is particularly interesting, tracing his designs from the 'old west' to some still used on today's battlefields.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn and tried this place the first night. It was a block away and very convenient to walk to. I was alone and so I was seated very promptly. The decorations were first rate, and the place was obviously buzzing even on a Monday night - a good sign. I ordered the Asian Rice Bowl... More

Totally enjoyed the museum - lots of history regarding rail travel & train history in this area. Also enjoyed the antique cars & Browning Firearms displays.

4 nice museums for $5? Unbelievable. My favorite is the John M. Browning museum upstairs. For anyone interested in firearms, this unassuming museum has quite a few "holy grails" of firearms displayed, including hand-built prototypes made by Mr. Browning himself. We also enjoyed the cars, the railroad museum and outdoor trains as well. Very nice place to spend $5 and... More

My mom suggested a diversion via a commuter train to Ogden (from Draper) for the ride and lunch at Union Station. It sounded great so we...my mom and her husband , my girlfriend and myself...hopped on board and headed out. The ride was relatively quick and the weather fantastic! The station was almost empty but reminded us all of a... More

They have a great selection of dishes. We have eaten there several times and have never been disappointed. By the way, when you're there be sure to try their French Onion soup. You'll be hooked!
