It was a beautiful hike...but...some where I read that the hike is easy or moderate. It is NOT. It is a lot of work and requires proper hiking shoes and water to drink. I would call it a moderate to hard trail. But well worth...More

We went in early December and enjoyed seeing the falls and the ice around the falls. Uphill trail, but good views of the falls and canyon below.

If you are in Ogden for more than a day or so and are looking for a good cardiovascular exercise, I would recommend this hike. It has some good elevation, but gives you a great view of the city and also has some great nature...More

I have started doing this trail as an evening workout vs going to the gym. Nice to get some fresh air and a good workout trying to improve my time. The waterfall is very small in the fall as spring time is the best time...More

Along the road you've got that nice waterfall. There is a parking lot just near so you can park safely. The view is already nice from the parking and the hike is quite difficult and slippy, but if you do it make sure you've got...More

What most people do not know is that the trail goes across private property. Most of the time, there is access. I don't think it is worth the hike though as it is simply water running down a fairly bland hillside.

This walk was really hard! It's uphill over rocks and is somewhat overgrown. When I did it, it must have been a dry spell because the falls weren't worth the strain. I imagine it could be very good if wetter This is certainly not a...More

Wow! It was much harder of a hike than several ratings indicated and took longer than the estimated times given. It was very challenging and often scary for us beginners. The views were breathtaking. The waterfall was beautiful. I'm glad I did it!

Please be aware that this not an easy, paved trail. I've seen ladies starting up this trail in flip flops or dainty sandals. The first part his steep without much shade. The last section in the canyon is rocky and you may need to scramble...More

The hike is beautiful and it's not too much work (Though it is mostly uphill with a steep elevation and lots of rocks to walk over). You should be in decent shape and bring some water along as well.

The hike itself is only about 3 miles. If you're talking time, it all depends on your fitness level.
