Not many restaurants here -- the few that are here are of course 'resort' pricing. Very clean with easy access via gondola to great hiking trails and a very good lodge to eat - Red Pine Lodge. We enjoyed taking the gondola up and then...More

I want to preface this by saying this is only for the Park City Golf Shop at Canyons. I understand profit margins. My six-year-old son and I are playing Putt-Putt golf at 11 in the morning and we started here at 9:30 this morning. My...More

There are so many choices in Park City to spend your week. We prefer the busy, but not too busy resorts. It doesn't feel overbuilt.... yet. So many people only visit PC in the winter. What a mistake. The summer is spectacular. There are so...More

Overall Canyons Village has minimal shopping and restaurants. The overall feel seems to be geared for ski season. There are a number of lodging selections. The North Face and Smartwool stores are very nice and they carry a good selection of winter ski apparel.

Even in summer this area is nice. Very pretty. We highly recommend the farmers market they do here. A great place for local food and crafts.

We stayed at the base of Canyons in the Sundial and Grand Summit Hotel, right in the village. There are nice shops and restaurants. The Draft was very good, we ate there most of the time. Also ski rentals and ski school services available.

I'm sure this place is buzzing during ski season but not much happening during the summer. However, I recommend the gondola ride to mid mountain. Awesome views on the way up and down. Not much from mid mountain. The gondolas are mountain bike friendly. Will...More

We did not stay at the lodging here, but the area is new and attractive. We visited here primarily to ride the gondolas and chair lifts up the mountain to hike. Both provided easy transportation up the mountain with scenic views, and the ticket price...More

There is a NASTAR on the PC side of the mountain. There are also a series of races throughout the ski season for different ages. Check with the mountain on the schedule.

Small market in the base of the west gate for essentials. 7-11 at the turn to the main road. Smiths, Walmart (its the nicest one I've been too and has a good food section) & Whole Foods a couple of miles away.

There are several shuttles you can get to take you to Westgate. I would ask the concierge there for a recommendation. We have done this. Most of the developments at Canyons have shuttles that will take you into downtown... More
