I had to travel to Utah for the Outdoor Retailer Fair and decided to take a few days of skiing afterwards. Go on a powder day - no one else does! Lots of terrain including tree runs. Excellent food makes for a special day!

We have skied Deer Valley for a few years. This year - we discovered "more" to like at Deer Valley. Yes - they store your skis overnight - but we discovered that you can leave your boots and or boot bag too in the locker room. This means you don't have to lug your "stuff" from the car or walk... More

No better place to ski in Utah. Plenty of different runs to satisfy skiers of all levels. They also limit the number of lift tickets so it is never over crowded.

Thinking about seeing what the Deer Valley hype is all about? Well, we checked it out on the Saturday during MLK weekend. Skied right to the lifts, saw breathtaking vistas, enjoyed stellar food on mntn, enjoyed the open well-groomed runs. We visited this place several times with teenagers. The facilities are very nice, the slopes are great and we'll groomed. The biggest problem is that the parking lots address somewhat far from the main base so once you dropped everybody off , you have to park the car and then take a train back or walk back with ski boots... More
