If your looking for a Bowl experience- Head up Jupiter and either hike or traverse over depending on level. Its a must after a good snow total

One of my favorite places in Park City to shred powder. Lots of different terrain for whatever you like. Steeps, wide open, trees. When the powder has just fallen, this is the place to be!

Took trip mid June n there was still a lot of snow near Jupiters bowl which my 11 yr old loved. Kool views n feelin of being on top of the world. There's a trail that goes straight up the mountain but take the trail that goes around the mountain which is much easier n ends up in same place.... More

I've been a fan of the Park City resort for years (and now that it's merged with the Canyons- there's even more to ski!). One of the great parts of PC is Jupiter Peak/Bowl. (It is definitely not for the faint-hearted skier and don't try it unless you are an advanced skier comfortable with Black Diamond runs.) It is crisp,... More

Jupiter Bowl was the best skiing in all 3 resorts and worth the short hike from the top of the lift. Challenging terrain with great snow and uncrowded skiing or lift lines.

The ride to the peak, followed by the drop into the many bowls and chutes are difficult to beat in North America. Truly one of the great ski mountains!

This peak is a fairly easy hike in the summer when starting from Guardsman Pass, between the Park City area and the Big Cottonwood Canyon ski areas of Brighton and Solitude.

Ok, the real way to get to Jupiter Peak in the summertime is to hike up from the resort parking lot. Try heading up Spiro trail (though avoid downhill bikers), up to Eagle, then on up Crescent Ridge. It's a bear of a hike but you'll be thrilled when you get to the top. You'll need to carry plenty of... More
