Nicely paved

This trail is for everyone - bikers, horseback riders, walkers and runners. In Park City it's flat enough for families to enjoy. It appears to go almost 20 miles..

My husband and I stayed in Coalville on Saturday and rode to Echo Reservoir. We then drove to Park City and rode 8 miles of the trail there. We enjoyed the markers with stories of the area. The weather was great for riding the trail. If I hadn't gotten a flat we would have liked to ride the whole distance.... More

The Union Pacific Rail Trail starts in Park City by White Pine Touring Company on Bonanza Drive (if you need to rent a bike, White Pine is a good and convenient company to rent from) and the trail continues for 28 miles to Coalville, Utah. The first few miles of the trail are paved leaving Park city and then turn... More

My wife and I love to ride bikes and were in Park City for a vacation. We decided to do this for a half day with her parents. It was nice but not spectacular. The trail itself is well maintained and safe. You do have some road crossings to stop at but none were super busy. I had high expectations... More

We did some walking and also rode bikes on the Union Pacific Rail Trail in Park City when we were there for over a week. It is a 28 mile trail. It used to be owned by the Union Pacific Railroad. There is an informational sign in Park City that describes the Rail Trail. There is also a marker that... More

This converted rail to trail is on the Hall of Fame. It has lots of interesting historical markers along the way. Plan for at least a 1/2 day ride and make sure to rent a bike at Jans Recreation on Park Avenue. They were just great. The trail travels through private land so you have to open and shut lots... This trail goes for miles and miles. You can take an easy stroll or ride your bike for awhile. Well maintained with easy to read signs gets you around without getting lost. Lots of on and off locations so you can find it anywhere.

Had a very pleasant few hours starting in Park City. The Park City buses meet the trail at a few locations.

You can go forever. Saw a mom and baby moose last week. This trail can get you to other trails or you can just stay on this trail as it goes on and on and on. Well paved with spectacular views. I have seen, walkers, runners, cyclists, dog walkers, and roller skaters on this. Very family friendly so if you... More

This is an awesome trail to walk or bike that follows many rivers to catch some great trout. The guys were able to fish and the girls were able to hike and see many wildlife.
