The Kayenta Community, in southern Utah's red rock country, is a tranquil enclave surrounded by protected lands.A 2,000 acre master planned community of fine homes, custom building sites and community amenities, is located 7 miles west of St. George, Utah. Kayenta is a unique departure from the norm, focused on moderate land use, moderate-sustainable growth, and an appreciation for our magnificent natural setting. Nearby, residents find adventure in the southwest's abundance of places to explore. Zion National Park, Snow Canyon and Bryce Canyon National Park are within view. While just beyond the horizon, adventure seekers will discover places like the Grand Canyon, Lake Powell and Las Vegas.

There is something here for everyone from the art galleries in the Coyote Gulch art village and the Sacred Spa treatments to the walking the Meditation Ring and viewing the majestic red mountains that surround the area. You can everything here from unusual teas to handmade jewelry and pottery. The Desert Arboretum provides a plethora of blooming cactus and flowers... More

The area is a great wonder of the rock formations, normally a rock is a rock but these are beautiful.

First time visitors are in for a treat when visiting Kayenta Art Village: outdoor, indoor eatery, spa, multiple galleries, pottery and art studios, labyrinth, desert arboretum, and soon to open The Center for the Arts. This venue will host dance, music, theater, exhibits, lectures, meetings and so much more for all of Southern Utah.

I live in St George and I love driving up thru Kayenta because it is so beautiful. The community is planned with large lots with the natural landscape minimally impacted by the houses. Many of the houses back up to the red mountains but there's not a bad view no matter which way you are looking. Besides the beauty, there's... More

Obviously, we are just a couple of hicks that aren’t into over-priced art and food. We’ve visited the St. George area a couple of times and were told not to miss Kayenta. So, we finally went. We found, as at least one other reviewer did, that there isn’t very much there. The layout is rather confusing and parking seemed to... More

Beautiful high end shops but affordable jewelry and art. One of the best art shows in Oct. Lovely area of southern Utah. A must see.

The surroundings are drop dead gorgeous, and the art galleries and shops have high quality and very unique art pieces. If you're anywhere in the area, this place is worth the drive. It's small and growing--can't wait to return and watch their progress!

Peaceful and powerful. Kayenta has so much natural beauty that it will enliven your soul. We were there during an art show weekend - the work was incredible - mostly very local artists - various mediums -all masters of their work. It is unusual for me to find more than one or two pieces at an Art Fair. The quality... More
