Although it is listed as a great place to view the city lights of St. George, which it is, one should know that the park is CLOSED at night. I guess becasue there are no ights and the climbing rocks would make it unsafe at night BUT ... other parks in the area are opened during some evening hours. You... More

We really enjoy moderate rock climbing and this was really a cool place. we had been to hole in the rock in scottsdale, but this was bigger and way more fun. all 4 of my kids ( and us) had a blast climbing up the different formation. as a bonus, we went around sunset time and we're treated to an... This is a very cool place. However, there are no guardrails or barriers to keep your kids from falling off the cliff. This is probably not a problem except for parents who see their children running towards the edge. The fear-induced adrenaline rush my wife and I experienced was a good cardiac test. If you are the least bit scared... More

We stopped here on our way to Park City, Utah and found it to be a great place to stop and stretch your legs. The park is small but what great scenery and rock formations. You could spend as little as 30 minutes here or hang out all day and hike with the family.

A must do for climbers/hikers (especially good for kids and adults alike). It's a small area but lots of fun. A little too much broken glass mars the adventure.

We checked this out during a Thanksgiving visit. This is a great place to climb and inspect the famous red sandstone that surrounds St. George. Beautiful views of the city below, with easy climbing access to many outcroppings and mini arches. The picnic tables were a nice touch, especially for those not able or willing to do any exploring.
