This place has huge, red rocks to climb on. If you scramble to the top, you get a good view of the town. It can be very hot, though, so make sure you bring water and spend some time in the shade. Free parking.

Really fun local park. No playground equipment, rocks and natural features. Beautiful. Can be very hot in summer, and is often crowded.

We took a ride through the park and stopped several times to take pictures and just take in the views. It was so peaceful there.

A real gem. Great free attraction with many local plants and flowers. So many varieties of cactus. Benches for sitting. Easy to walk. Close to town.

This picturesque park has great scenic views, excellent services (bathroom, picnic tables, trails), and something for all levels of walkers, hikers, and rock climbers. The desert garden right next to Pioneer Park shouldn't be missed either.

Continue from garden parking lot around to the park. Right next to each other. Trails to follow. The rock formations and colors are beautiful.

In a state where there are many natural wonders, this small state park is a short drive from the center of St. George. Spectacular rock formations and hiking trails. Well worth the visit.

Not good for biking. But there are over 100 miles of biking trails in the area of St Grorge.

I am a 68 year old woman and I found the park great. It is a little challenging with the level changes, but I saw many children having a wonderful time there. They would need adult supervision, of course.

There's a fire pit in the pavilion, but I've not seen it used. We haven't been there at night
