We checked this out during a Thanksgiving visit. This is a great place to climb and inspect the famous red sandstone that surrounds St. George. Beautiful views of the city below, with easy climbing access to many outcroppings and mini arches. The picnic tables were a nice touch, especially for those not able or willing to do any exploring.

This is very easy and accessible. Kids of all ages love climbing the rocks and exploring the area. Stunning view of St. George and the St. George Temple. The ultimate challenge, and badge of honor, is to squeeze thru "the crack." For kids its a piece of cake...for adults it will thoroughly test your sense of claustrophobia.

For real hikes and sights, Zion national park is first, Snow Canyon is 2nd, and this place is third. We went here in the rain and didn't want to risk hiking in Zion. This is manageable, fun, low key. Older elementary age kids and older can scramble mostly on their own. People carving their names into the sandstone mars the... More

This has become one of my kids favorite things to do when we are in St. George! It's easy to access and you can spend a little time there, or enjoy hours of fun. We love to stop at the little botanical gardens to the south too. Fun little trip!

There are many trails and rock formations to traverse. There are narrow, slotted canyons to squeeze through and interesting rock formations to explore.

We went to Pioneer park with four kids. It was lots of fun. Those hills look like a beehive and kids loved to climb them up and down. We also say people practicing climbing skills there. Definitely great activity for kids with different tastes

Loved hiking around these large, colorful and scenic boulders. The view is fabulous. Easy to locate and access. A gem worth the visit.

Came to park at sunset ... climbing and finding a rock at sunset was the goal of everyone ... nice spot but not as dramatic as Snow Canyon
