UVM is a state school that charges high tuition, even for in-state students. It has come a long way. The Campus Center is very modern LEED standard building with lots of food options. A very liberal student body, like Vermont itself.
Lots of students with attitudes. Overpriced university, it's the attitude of the students that got me. Watch out in traffic, they will just walk out and not look. I found little of interest here, keep going down to the water front.
We visited the University of Vermont while in Burlington. The campus dominates the area up the hill from downtown. The university is a stunning gateway to downtown and the waterfront. I enjoyed the gardening and architecture.
