This is a family friendly hike with a great payoff at the top. For those, such as myself, with bad knees, you can hike up and drive down.

We had an amazing bbq with Lake Champlain as a backdrop. The hike to the top is beautiful and the trail is well maintained. We really cannot overstate how fabulous the views CA be.

My buddy and I enjoyed our drive up the access road and hiking around the top. We enjoyed a picnic then drove down the road to Cookie Love for ice cream.

You don't need to buy a Saint Bernard and chant yodel hey hi hoo in order to get to the summit; its just a challenging 30 minute walk from your car. The views of Lake Champlain, the Adirondack mountains and the green valley are breathtaking....More
