DaVallia is an art boutique with a vintage, modern country flair. Walk into our shop, or browse our collections online and you'll find fine handcrafted arts and crafts with character. Each piece has a story, an identity, and a spirit. Each piece is the unique result of a vision, brought to life by an artist's hand. Couple that special character with a function and you've got art for everyday living.
DaVallia was established in 2009 by artists, Michael & Jessie Alon. Michael creates art furniture and sculpture from reclaimed wood, steel, and concrete. Jessie handcrafts artisan jewelry using sterling silver, terrazzo, and semi-precious stones. Together they hand-pick and curate the works form an additional 50 artist. DaVallia's collection emulates the quality of finer metropolitan galleries while still rejoicing in the inviting, warming Vermont charm. Located in historic Chester, Vermont.

Warm wonderful people offering an amazing assortment of beautiful, unique, handcrafted ware. Not the typical items you see at every shop. High quality with very reasonable prices.

This captivating shop sells a variety of locally made crafts and jewelry, all quite beautiful. My trip to Chester, Vermont is not complete without a visit, and usually a purchase.

My friend and I were lucky enough to fine this gem of a store on our getaway trip to Vermont. Wow, what a selection of beautiful, unique handcrafted items. I was shopping for Christmas, but ended up finding a ton of stuff for me. A beautiful cheese board, slate garden makers (with veggies names) and an amazing wooden bud vase.... More

We shopped at DaVallia Art and Accents for unique holiday presents again this year. We find so many cute and different gifts for each member of the family including myself in different price ranges. I thoroughly enjoy this place and frequented it last year. The items I purchased then were so popular and well received we decided to visit them... More

Best Art store I've visited in a long time. Very down to earth art that anyone can enjoy. You don't have to understand art to be able to admire the beauty in the pieces at this store. And it is all so practical- furniture, earings, purses, wall hangings, tree ornaments, etc. I spent two hours looking in this tiny shop-... More

We visited DaVallia for the first time by chance. We will plan to return the next time we are in Chester. It was both a gallery and a shop. There were beautiful handmade items in all price ranges. We learned a lot about the area artists. We brought home a wonderful molded glass bowl which we've used at many of... More

We stumbled across DaVillia Art & Accents whilst driving from A to B just after Christmas and needed to stretch our legs halfway. What a delight it was to find such a fantastic, fine arts store in this small country town (a rarity these days given tough economic times). We popped in and ended up staying way over an hour...
