First time camping in Vermont with kids, 10, 7 & 2. We were three young couples and also an older couple. Sites all have a nice size. The lake was a little cold but I still went in with the kids. Two hiking trails. The...More

i have been coming to this park since the late 1980's. The park is small, quiet and well maintained. The lake has many weeds but i've caught numerous bass over the past year. They have great lakeside sites. The bathroom facilities are clean an up...More

Still, quiet, private, pretty, tranquil. Half Moon is a peaceful camping site set beside a picturesque little lake. We camped in a lean too one night, hired a paddle boat, watched meteorites from the recreational open area. Bliss.

We stayed three nights with our young child, and enjoyed our experience. Quiet hours are enforced, which we appreciated, but which may be ill suited to visitors hoping for later nights by the fire. The facilities are clean and the people very helpful. We took...More
