Jay Peak Resort is a beautiful resort with plenty to do for all ages. The resort is located in the mountains in Vermont which makes it a perfect place to ski. The ski instructors were patient with my children and the entire staff was friendly. There is an indoor water park called the Pump House that my kids Loved!! There... More

Ahhh Jay peak! Did you ever wish they would leave well enough alone. Jay has gone resort on us, and they are not living up to what they are selling. Don't come here Sunday through Thursday. Seems Jay decided they didn't need more than one shuttle on a Monday after a huge snow storm. We were a group of 30,... More

I have skied Jay Peak for many years and have long been aware of its tremendous powder skiing and wonderful glade runs. What I was not ready for was the incredible new facilities they have added over the years. It is truly a world class resort with major hotel options, indoor water parks and nice apres ski options.

So much fun! And so beautiful inside and outside of the hotel. Gorgeous scenic views and multiple activities available to you within walking distance (and there are underground tunnels so you don't have to get cold!).

Jay is not known for its great hotels and food or hospitality. I sometimes make day trips from boston (4 hr drive) just because they have so much snow and great terrain to ski in that snow (and limited accommodations). With an annual avg of 370", they have plenty of pow. The winds like to crank on this mountain, so... More

My boyfriend and I came for a Thursday night. We were able to check in a little early and they do allow you to pick up your ski/water-park passes before going to your room if it's not ready. There's valet available to park your vehicle and store/bring your bags/gear to the room. There are separate ski lockers which we didn't... More

I was at Jay Peak all week. The skiing was very good, especially the second half of the week. However, the hospitality of this “resort” leaves much to be desired. Even under new management, Jay Peak still hasn’t earned the title “resort.” Today (Friday, February 3) I arrived at the base of the tram lift expecting to make the “last... More

With kids in tow, "plans" often turn out to be "guidelines." The resort staff was pretty flexible so that was a plus. It is pretty remote, so heading up there expecting to be catered to constantly is pretty unrealistic. You can have it that way but it seems to work best if you help yourself a bit. I saw many... Not worth the 6 hour ride from NYC. There literally was nowhere to eat. The restaurants were all filled and no way to find a table other than pizza every day. The chair lift stopped every 3 minutes. The tram was closed for 3 out of the 5 days we were there. The worst part was there was literally no... More
