Thundering Falls is our favorite short walk to a beautiful waterfall. Parking is limited but you can park on the road. The trail is part of the AT and the board walk across the marsh is well maintained. In cold weather the ice formations are...More

My boyfriend and I hiked this trail in January, when the waterfall was completely frozen. We were able to walk off the path and follow along the waterfall, which is cool if you're looking for an adventure. The trail itself is very safe and easy.

We didn’t do the full trail but were able to stop onto a small car park on River Road and take a short 3/4 mile walk along a clear, well maintained path to the falls. You’ll hear them before seeing them for sure! We went...More

We were looking for something easy after deer pass and this was perfect. Parking lot brings you to a wooden walkway right across the river to the forest and waterfalls. It is a beautiful walk easy enough for the entire family. A must see if...More

What a beautiful waterfall! You walk down about 1/4 mile boardwalk, and up an incline of packed pebbles to this beautiful rock ledge waterfall. Because of the recent rains it was flowing pretty rapidly. Definitely worth a little time off your visit!

We stopped here while driving the VT-100. The falls are ok but the foliage we saw here while doing this short walk was some of the best of our entire trip.

Easy walk to impressive waterfall. Amount of water varies and is best in Spring during snow melt and at other times after rainfall. You can also climb a trail to the top of the falls. If you want more exercise, you could park at Kent’s...More

A quick walk across a very nice pathway and you'll see a awesome site. The falls are beautiful and the sounds are fantastic. If you like nature in the rarest form this is the place. You can also climb to the top of the falls...More

This is not what I would call a hike. You park and walk a minute and thirty seconds along a wooden walkway to the falls. Nice, relaxing but not a hike. In and out in 15 minutes.

The walk to the first viewing platform (1/4 mile with incline at the end) is very easy. We did it with a stroller. Going beyond that is more of a scramble but really fun. 3 year old and agile 70 year old both made it...More
