I was not able to do this tour to my regret but I must comment on the great customer service. I had prepaid for this trip and did not call to get my money back but to explain why we would not show up. The owner immediately said she would refund my fee and hoped to see me in the... More

Tour the back roads around Manchester and discover some wonderful hidden places. Merck Farm, old general store, granite quarry and many other cool places. A very enjoyable day.

My husband and I were in Manchester for the weekend, hoping to catch some fall foliage but we were unfortunately a few weeks too late. Sharon took us on the Shires of Vermont Sampler Tour, which brought us to wonderful local places in the vicinity we would otherwise not have seen! She was knowledgable and shared many tips on what... This is a great way to see beautiful Vermont surrounding the town of Manchester. We tried to book on the day but the tour vehicle was all booked up. Sharon, the proprietor and guide offered us the opportunity to follow along in our own vehicle at a reduced price. This worked well as all the informative commentary occurred outside the... More

Sharon was a great tour guide who took us to some wonderful locations to view the Vermont fall foliage. Also very informative about the history of Manchester VT and surrounding towns. The bus was comfortable and it was a fun tour and great value. It was worth the journey from Australia!

Sharon was a lovely tour guide and knowledgeable of the area. We enjoyed the tour as it was nice being driven around to see the fall foliage. So relaxing and interesting. We even met Mohawk the Alpaca and got to feed him. Too cute. If you have little ones they will enjoy that. We also saw sheep as well. One... More

Thank you for your comments! I'm glad you enjoyed the tour! Unfortunately, due to the steep and curvy nature of the Equinox Skyline Drive, tour vehicles are not allowed. A 6-passenger SUV is the largest they allow. FYI, the best time to view the glory of the foliage in southern Vermont (without going to the top of Equinox), is a... More

We took the Revolutionary War tour because the Vermont Sampler wasn't available, but we weren't disappointed. We had a nice time and learned much that we would not have on our own.

We booked the day before and found that the afternoon tour was booked up but there was room with Revolutionary/Civil War morning tour. I'm glad it worked out that way! Very interesting and informative. The tour van was comfortable. Highly recommend.

We had a lot of fun at the tour. Sharon was really nice. It felt like you had a local family member taking you around. We had a ten month old and she was very accommodating.

We just loved this tour, lots of history, and we especially loved the alpaca farm where we visited and bought some items. During the foliage season, this is a treat you should endulge in.
