Made it a point to stop here while visiting Montpelier - was really impressed with how nice the building is & the picturesque grounds. Was unable to take a tour, but would love to when back in the area. Great photo ops!

We try to visit all of the capitals when we are traveling and this one was great. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and was a native from Vermont.

The people are super friendly. They offer a self guided tour with the option for an audio tour. Take the audio tour; it really covers the history of the building. I was really impressed by the details inside the building

The towns of Waterbury, Stowe and Quechee are nice small towns to visit that are close to Montpelier, if you have a couple or few days to enjoy Vermont.
