Ever heard of a tolt? Will this is the place you will find out all about it. Well maintained horses and barn. Good communication with the owner. It was a hike from where we were staying, but well worth the 50 minute drive. If you are looking for a wild ride - this is not your place. The owners are... More

Will definitely return while visiting my daughter at UVM. And am considering owning this unique, sweet breed.

Awesome Vermont Adventure! As someone who has done a number of guided trail rides on vacation; I can say that this ranks as one of the best. The ride is beautiful- you go down dirt roads, through the woods, and have wonderful views! Riding the icy's is a unquie experience as compared to other trail rides, and for the timid... More

My wife and I did a 1-1/2-hour trail ride. I have been around horses a lot, but never on one for more than a walk around a yard. For me it was my first real ride (at age 68). My goal for the day was to be in the saddle at the end of the ride. The short of it... More

Great horses and wonderful guides. My husband (a non-horse person) and I did the hour and a half trail ride down dirt roads and through woods and fields. Beautiful vistas!

We have been on many trail rides while being on vacation, but this one was def. one of the best treks! Riding Icelandic horses was an entirely new experience, even for us advanced riders:)! We opted for a 3 hour trail ride and it was just perfect. The guide was great, very thorough and safety oriented. Karen, the owner, was... More

My daughter and I went up mid-week for the express purpose of riding these horses, as she has been taking lessons for a few months. No experience at all for me. Once we arrived, they told us they didn't take VISA. Really? Where on the web site or on email or phone call was this conveyed. Fortunately we had a... More

We approached this with some trepidation since we only have the basic skills of riding under our belt. Staff was helpful and accommodating. They chose good horses for our experience level, and offered appropriate instruction. We rode for two hours on two different days and we loved the combination of backroads and forest trail. We will definitely return.

I would like to reiterate the sentiments expressed by an earlier reviewer, @GJ1964. If only I had heeded that warning before coming here. I got the impression that this would be a good experience for intermediate or experienced riders, but for beginners, there was not nearly enough instruction provided for adequate safety. What's more, they clearly took out too many... More

Maybe the best way to convey how much my husband and I enjoyed our rides at the horse farm is to reveal that we enjoyed ourselves so much we decided to buy one of the horses that I rode during our week of riding. We are experienced riders and own other horses. However, there is something very special about Icelandics.... More
