Getting a re-route for next summer hopefully will be finished. Lots of Mosquitoes. Bring water and there is no where to use the restroom after you leave Newport.

A nice path along lake in town, turning north along east side of lake through some quiet streets and parks and school grounds. About 3.5 miles to a wooded trail, which continues toward the Border about 5-6 miles. That's for another day, 6-7 mile round...More

This is a great bike path, very well maintained, and most of it is quite level. Part of it is on the road, but there is room to ride.

Loosely packed surface perfect for walking, biking, cross-country skiing. No motorized vehicles. Path crosses fields, shaded areas, and follows along the shore of Lake Mempremagog. From Newport, VT into Canada. Quiet and beautiful.
