Get everything you could possibly need for bread baking and for all kinds of other baking. There are flours, tools, mixes, pans, utensils, seasonings, cookbooks, and on and on. I spent a long time just wandering about looking at various items. I wound up getting a bag of organic steel cut oats (2 lbs for $9.95). This is a great... More

King Arthur Flour, old company with brand new location and spectacular building. Great baking ingredients for sale and lovely place to eat too.

This is a store. It sells a wide range of quality flours, and things that are useful for baking. They have great gift items. They also sell great baked goods. It is a pretty place to look around.

Pastries, breads, prepared foods for take out or coffee and meals on site, the food is excellent. Baker's store has everything imaginable for the kitchen including wonderful mixes. Classes in their well equipped facility are fun. And as a bonus it's employee owned and donates to charities. New building is spacious and energy efficient.

The only problem with stopping here is there are too many tempting things to buy! They offer so many unique items that are hard to find anyone else. You can order through their catalogue but it so much nicer to see the items in person and sample some.

I was glad to go there because I always use King Arthur Flour. This is quite an operation with an education center, a store and a restaurant. Spent most time in the store which has seemingly everything you could need as a baker. Staff is knowledgeable about the merchandize. And the building itself is fascinating -- post and beam with... I love just walking around perusing all of the wonderful items for baking. They have it all!!!! Not just ingredients to produce the most wonderful baked goods, but cook books, cake pans and other specialty items. I am happy just to spend 30 minutes breathing in the air of freshly baked bread!

My husband attended a bread making class as part of our bread & beer weekend at the Norwich Inn. The class really taught us how to make bread and was a lot of fun and was very well organized. The breads we made were delicious and were served as part of the feast at the Norwich Inn. The King Arthur... More

I thought I knew how to bake bread until I attended their 4 day artisan bread baking class this fall. My mom and I took it together and absolutely had a ball! The instructors were all very clear in their explanations and great about helping each person. Since then I've been making beautiful and delicious bread, rolls, croissants, sourdough goodies,... Wish we could have taken a class while we were here. Alas, our schedule didn't allow it. Never the less, I enjoyed my visit. I was a little surprised by how many mixes were available for purchase -- I feel like a lot of KAF fans are people who prefer to bake from scratch. But I could be wrong, of... More
