We picked a beautiful fall Saturday to visit with our daughter and grand-daughter, who live in the area. I could have spent an hour in the gift shop alone. There are lots of good items at not to bad prices. Then we hit the dessert...More

I would describe this museum as unique and top class. Unfortunately, I did not have nearly enough time to appreciate it all, but our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. I really love the old buildings here and the history behind them, and particularly the...More

Four of us went here on the recommendation of several friends. It was so interesting. One definitely needs a two day ticket to absorb it all at a nice pace. The grounds are lovely, the map serves as a nice guide, and everyone who works...More

This museum is enormous and quite expensive. There is a shuttle bus but we never seemed to be at any of the stations at the right time so we walked. And walked. And walked. So many interesting exhibits. Our favourites were the circus models; the...More

They have a shuttle, a large covered vehicle that runs a regular circuit around the property so you can get to each of the areas without excessive walking. I would bring a water bottle if it is warm. You can stay at any of... More
