Every year when we vacation in Stowe we visit this Library for the book sale and we buy at least one book. It is a tradition in our family for over 15 years !

It's a nice library for a small town. the sale is somewhat disorganized as much of the stuff remains in boxes underneath the tables on the veranda. They simply need more room and a sponsor to get some yard tents out. That would more than...More

This library features books and periodicals,of course but also contains an art gallery that showcases local artists. It would do justice to a town three times the size of Stowe.

Loved by locals. Upstairs is the local art museum and on its site is a real life one room school house. Visit and enjoy the library or just rest in the gazebo and take in the sites. Especially during foliage!

My husband wanted to do some research back from when he lived in Stowe so we found the library. I have to say that I love small town libraries as a refuge from sight seeing and this one was particularly nice.
