wonderful hike to Buttion Bay point.

Lovely. Peaceful ten minute walk. Beautiful views of Lake Champlain. Gorgeous views of the Adirondak Mountains. Be aware the park closes Columbus day weekend in October.

I have traveled 49 states and 7 Canadian provinces, and I've stayed in campgrounds most of those. Button Bay ranks at the TOP! I have never seen such well-maintained campsites. We spent 4 nights in early October, so the pool was already closed but the area around it looked to be well-kept as well. Being from SC, I doubt we... More

Nice park. Several hiking trails a driving distance away. Staff were very accommodating that we arrived really late Friday night and were very helpful providing us information the next day about where to hike and swim. Camping area was spacious and very well maintained. We went swimming at Button Point which is about a 10 minute hike from the campgrounds... More

Beautiful views of Lake Champlain and a nice easy walk for toddlers. There is a nice playground and the restrooms are the nicest I have ever used in a state park.

While on a motorhome trip we needed a sani-dump. Perfect spot while driving through. Were able to use free of charge. I could see kayakers who stayed and apparently had water access. Park was quiet with nice sites.

Button Bay has it all: nature trails, walking trails, camping, swimming in a pool or lake and plenty of space to spread out.

We spent a weekend camping there and had a great time! The campsite is well maintained, the showers and restrooms were very clean. We had a great time walking around the park and enjoyed being so near to the lake!

This is a cute, tiny park with some truly amazing views of the lake, the Green Mountains, and the Adirondaks! The day use area is nice with a pool and playground. There is camping in two different loops, one is WAY better for RV's, really open, the other is more private with bushes around almost every site :) The views... More

Located just beside Lake Champlain. The campground is well-maintained. Restrooms and bath houses were very clean. Bring quarters for operating the showers.

Spent almost a week camping at Button Bay, fishing Lake Champlain, and touring the area. The state park is a splendid place to camp with very nice amenities like spotless rest rooms with showers, a nature center with walking paths, canoe and kayak rentals, a large playground area, bike paths and plenty of space. It is very quiet at night... More
