This place is awesome. There is jazz on thursdays, and apart from the singer, they are really good. The movies take a while to reach this place; had to wait 3 weeks to see La La Land here. There are regular events, some for kids, and some for adults. I specially remember when Martin Luther King Jr. Day came around,... More

The Mountaintop Film Festival is going on right now and Claudia the owner of this awesome establishment has brought intellectually stimulating and international films to commemorate the Martin Luther King holiday... recognizing the theme of civil rights ... be it American or international. In this small town of Waitsfield, sophisticated people are bringing high minded content to our community and... More

Might be only movie theater you ever go to with dirt parking lot, back row of velvet love seats with pull up tables so you can eat a meal or have a beer that you can order from the attached cafe that has great menu, full bar, espresso machine, soda fountain, etc. while watching a movie. Great setting and cool... More

This was our first stop in Vermont and it was a great first impression. Delicious! - the tofu/risotto was incredible, steak tacos very good and the kids loved the grilled cheese and hot dog. Very large drinks.

While staying in the Mad River Valley we came here for a meal and enjoyed both the food and the local musicians. It was good enough that we went back the next day for their jazz night plus some huge slabs of cake. Highly recommend this place if you are passing through the area

Great find recommended by our hotel. The pancakes were fluffy and served with real maple syrup (huge portions so we left with a to go container). Our server recommend the special and we agreed, it was fabulous. The donuts were yummy...combo cake and raised with a maple glaze. Fast and friendly service, a must try if you are in the... More

We went for the movies and were surprised by the quality of food at the cafe. Locally sourced and well-prepared We tried the hamburger and homemade ravioli, washed down with cans of Heady Topper. We'd go back just to dine!

This is a fun, eclectic cafe attached to local theater. Food was very good. Service was great. Love that they have fresh bread made onsite and tons of creative menu options. Bonus: they offer gluten free choices. And don't miss their donuts!

It's a turn back in time to a simpler way of life. A unique spot to visit that hasn't been spoiled by the commercialism that has become our way of life. Can't wait to go back. The staff is warm and welcoming. I was sad that our timing didn't work to have a meal there, but we watched a movie... More
