Horses spend most of their time grazing, i.e., eating grass in open pastures. The paved walkways in Virginia's section of Assateague Island National Seashore run through woods. So these just don't make sense as a means to view the wild horses known as Chincoteague ponies...More

So excited to see ponies after reading Misty books as a kids. Was n my bucket list and now fulfilled. Dan was very personable, answered our questions. Liked the fact that it was a small tour- only 3 couples.

Great way to see the fantastic nature around Chincoteague - very comfortable boat, limited to six passengers. The extra cost is well worth it. Knowledgable and friendly captain, we saw many dolphins, three bald eagles, pelicans, and a bunch of wild horses. A highly recommended...More
