We took a quick trip to the wayside and found a relaxing picnic area. Kids were swimming in the water and there was plenty of area to walk the dogs and relax. Not many covered bridges left!

Wish we had more time to explore it! Bring your camera as it is a good photo op. Several small children and families were splashing in the shallow water under the bridge. There are port a potties on site.

If you are a fan of covered bridges this may not be worth your while. I traveled 10 miles out of the way for a not very romantic bridge.
