There really is something for everyone here. We stayed for just a few hours and did a short hike and visited the historical site. Beautiful views from the top of piedmont overlook trail.

I wasn't up for a mountain hike and my boyfriend didn't want a paved trail so we settled on Sky Meadows as a happy medium. There are an abundance of trails to choose from, plenty of benches for resting points along the way and hills,...More

It's a tradition for us to stop here on our annual trek north to visit relatives in the fall. Easy in and out, great views, great interpretive mountain farm stuff. Apple trees still produce, and are tasty

There are many trails here, but poorly marked. Great views, but make sure you spray yourself down with tick repellant. There are terrible in the grasses.

This park offers so much - beautiful scenery, great trails, wildlife, picnic areas. Park is superbly maintained - trails mowed, picnic areas clean and welcoming, very clean restrooms. Wonderful place for bird watching, hiking or just a casual walk.

Yes. We have 3 open areas with tables for picnicking open for everyone to use. We also have a covered shelter and uncovered area that can be rented.

At the campsites, yes. There aren't any at the historical site, but there is an area within the park with picnic tables. You go right shortly after passing the first guard house.

We have to have at least one person that is 18 years old. The reservation must be in that person's name and they much be present.
