On a recent girls' weekend, Barren Ridge was our first stop! As soon as we pulled up, we were greeted by an adorably friendly dog who ran right up to the car and welcomed us! Once inside, the tasting room is large and inviting. There is a large room upstairs suitable for special events. Nice variety of reds and whites... More

It's great to do a wine tasting here (and you should do it) but even better is to buy a bottle of wine that you like and sit out on the terrace and enjoy it in the sunshine and fresh air. Highly recommended!

Scenic location outside of Waynesboro. Many wines to try. Several good whites and reds. Pleasant staff. Great views. Very enjoyable afternoon. We will be back with friends.

Such a fun place & Ross was so good at the pouring in the tasting room! Met others and shared a bottle of Traminette, crackers & red chile feta dip. Great hidden jewel!

My wife and I stopped here after spending a weekend at the Iris Inn. We met the owners while sitting at the fireplace. They were very welcoming and their son gave us a tour of the winery. The views from the patio of the surrounding area were gorgeous. The upstairs space seems like it would be a great event venue.... More

This isn't just my go-to vineyard because it's close by; the valley has plenty of nearby wineries. But this wine is first rate, the staff is great, and the events are the perfect way to spend an evening--wine, music, food, friends. Could you ask for more?

A beautiful tasting room with a cozy, wood fire in the winter and outdoor tables overlooking the vineyard in the summer. Wine was disappointing. 4 reds or 4 whites to taste for $5 or taste all for $8. Only found one that was drinkable by the glass (petit Verdot). Nice pour but we could hardly swallow it all down.

Great staff. Wonderful whites. Reds are average, with one red even offered chilled. nice atmosphere for relaxing. Reasonable pricing. They allowed us to bring in outside food when they were not busy. Recommend particularly for a relaxing time with a date or small group of friends.

Beautiful location and enjoyed the drive and scenery to get there. The wines were okay but nothing I thought worth purchasing.
