They definitely overcharge $5 each for this museum which is basically one room of memorabilia. I suppose they have no other way to keep up such a museum in here parts but I think a donation only fee would be more welcoming. I've paid that...More

I am sorry that you think we overcharge in our admission fee. We are privately owned by the Warren Rifles Chapter, UDC. We believe that the cards on the exhibits explain the items. Each staff member can answer some questions that the public may have....More

The museum is basically just one big room, but it's packed with Civil War artifacts, particularly items with a local connection. There are several uniforms, plenty of weapons, accouterments, documents, etc. My personal favorite was a pair of Mosby's spurs. Lots to see for Civil...More

We spent less than an hour here, but read some interesting history. It's next door to Belle Boyd's cottage and two other museums. They don't all have the same hours of operation, but if you plan your stop right, you might get several museums at...More

I am sorry that you did not feel that our admission fee is a reasonable price. Just about every $ goes to pay expenses or upgrade our physical plant. We are fortunate to have volunteers that permit us to keep our fee at $5.00. We...More

We appreciate your review. As you say, we are only a short walk away from the Visitors' Center. Your walk followed the route of the Union soldiers who were around the Train Station as they were forced to retreat. Many people think of battlefields, they often...More
