Fishing Pier is AWESOME!

This Pier has it all. Cleaning Stations, 3-4 types of bait to choose from. And it's a 24 hours Pier so if you're a night fisher, you love it. The fee is less than $10 for Adults.

Family frequented Buckroe for evening walks and weekend entertainment. Very enjoyable atmosphere. Can't wait to get there for another visit.

Great time. Nice room regardless of the hurricane passing through. Stayed at Sans Souci motel. Just like an apartment without a stove. Handy working charcoal grills not far on grounds. Good shower. Friendly staff. Calm waters. Caught clams and fished. Lots of cocktails! The purple rain. Always call for correct prices. Close to everything. Less busy than Virginia Beach. Free... More

We've been there several times to walk on the beach at sunset. By then there are only a few people on the beach. It's a clean beach and seems to be well patrolled. Convenient to Hampton and Newport News.

On a recent day trip to the Hampton Roads area, my family decided to check out what I would only loosely describe as a "beach". The location sits in a run down part of town flanked by at least one dive motel and some run down housing. I don't believe you would want to be anywhere near here after dark... More

I love this small unknown beach. It is actually a nice park. Not too crowded and you can really enjoy your time there. Also clean.

Dirty food trucks. Rocky beach with a lot of trash just below the sand. Dead plants. Red necks in abundance. Area has a stark, almost dead, and dirty feel about it. Sad.

Nice Beach Enjoyed Summmer Concerts; food trucks available during summer concerts. Nice crowd. Venue large enough to support crowd but parking is not good.
