Wow! Slavery is more than black & white. This helped explain the green of the situation. Helen & the other staff were fantastic. The sea to the stars pass is worth buying if you'll be in the area more than one day.

This was a good little museum. It's small and not a vast amount of things, but if you're a history buff, it'll suit your needs. Military gets in free which is a nice perk.

A very pleasant way to spend an afternoon. Free parking was an added bonus. The exhibits were very interesting.

The exhibits in this museum show the local history of many cultures. Interesting to me was the description of the Great Dismal Swamp Wildlife Refuge, which was a haven for escaped slaves.

This museum displayed one of the best overviews of Hampton and it's area. Very impressed in their incorporation of all cultures.
