I mean that in the best of ways. My 4 and 2.5 year old daughters had a blast (4 yr. old played for 2.5 hours). Daddy even had some fun building things in the construction area. Great way to introduce kids to all sorts of different things - shopping, science, health, farm, auto, theater, and more. Great place to spend... More

We were there on a school day and had just missed a school field trip (thankfully), so we pretty much had the place to ourselves! The grandkids loved the sound effects in the theater area and spent time building in the construction zone.

This children's museum is very similar to the one on Broad Street in Richmond, only smaller with no outdoor space. Four grandparents had three granddaughters, ages 7, 8, and 8. The girls' favorite attraction was the theater room with the makeup station. They spent a good deal of time applying the washable makeup. Conveniently, wipes were at the station for... More

We took our two eight-year old children here and they may have been a little too old for this museum, but they still had fun. They loved the car mechanic exhibit along with the chicken coop slide. All of the kids were so excited in the building, it was fun to see the joy of them discovering new things.

This is a great place to take young kids (10 and under) especially on a rainy day. Many activities to keep their interest. It's expensive so if you're local a yearly pass is the way to go.

Great place to take your kid if it's cold or rainy outside. Plenty of different activities so they never get bored. You will be worn out before your kid is. Only down side is that it can get crowded. Looking forward to the top two floors opening up as this should help a lot.

Took my two kids - 12 & 10 - here as we were exploring Harrisonburg. What a great find! The kids loved exploring and trying out all the different rooms. Very hands on and interactive for them. I think we ended up spending almost two hours there. They loved it, and probably would've stayed a little longer.

It's a great place to spend a couple hours with children. I go with my kindergarten class every year. The kids love the dress up area, face painting, driving the ambulance and cooking in the kitchen! There is so much to do and see. They move excitedly from place to place having fun, learning and being creative.

Took my son here (he's almost 3) and he looooooved it! There's an art room where kids can draw and create their own masterpieces, so my son enjoyed scribbling with crayons. He loved the train tables and the lawn mower and ambulance that you can actually go inside of. He also liked the big cow that you can "milk" though... More
