White Oak Lavender is a year round agritourism venue. We make more than 100 products from the lavender. From Memorial Day to Labor day there are daily guided farm tours one hour after opening. Private tours and group experiences are available by reservation at any time of year. Classes, Events and Self Guided tours are offered year round. We have a Discovery Area that includes viewing our domestic farm animals. It is not an actual petting zoo but our animals do love people! We have alpaca, horses, miniature horses, sheep, goat, rabbits and free range exotic hens. We do have a small picnic area that is first come first serve. Our guests also enjoy our indoor wine tasting room and our lavender ice cream all year round! Fun for all ages and a variety of interests! 10:00 AM - 6 PM April -December CLOSE AT 5 PM Jan, Feb and March WE ARE CLOSED 3 DAYS PER YEAR: THANKSGIVING, CHRISTMAS, AND NEW YEARS! Thank you and we look forward to your visit!

Stopped for wine and learned that it's also a lavender farm with animals. It is beautifully landscaped. There are a couple of shops that include lavender items, wine and ice cream. Kids loved petting the horses.

My husband and I went out of our way to visit this place because of the reviews. The Discovery Area was small and the animals weren’t out, making it a waste of money. We went next door to do the wine tasting, which was pretty...More

We hit this spot a little to early in the season for full bloom but still enjoyed. Lavender ice cream was fun and wine tasting worked out well.

This was a highlight of a 3 day trip to VA. Found by accident but so worth the trip. A beautifully laid out lavender farm with farm animals for the kids, and outdoor wine tasting bar (with an overhang so you don't burn), outdoor seating,...More

Take the 8 dollar tour. The owner of the farm gives a great overview of growing lavender, harvesting, and the lovely grounds. Nice place to spend a few hours

To be honest, I was expecting more "farm" with more fields of lavender to see, but it was mainly a winery with a gift shop. There is an area behind the gift shop with some animals to see -- it costs $3 per person --...More
