White Oak Lavender is a year round agritourism venue. We make more than 100 products from the lavender. From Memorial Day to Labor day there are daily guided farm tours one hour after opening. Private tours and group experiences are available by reservation at any time of year. Classes, Events and Self Guided tours are offered year round. We have a Discovery Area that includes viewing our domestic farm animals. It is not an actual petting zoo but our animals do love people! We have alpaca, horses, miniature horses, sheep, goat, rabbits and free range exotic hens. We do have a small picnic area that is first come first serve. Our guests also enjoy our indoor wine tasting room and our lavender ice cream all year round! Fun for all ages and a variety of interests! 10:00 AM - 6 PM April -December CLOSE AT 5 PM Jan, Feb and March WE ARE CLOSED 3 DAYS PER YEAR: THANKSGIVING, CHRISTMAS, AND NEW YEARS! Thank you and we look forward to your visit!

I was escorting a bus tour group from Pennsylvania traveling through the area on a mystery tour. One of our attractions was the Lavender Farm. We were given a guided tour of their lovely grounds and learned a lot about the lavender. They also have...More

These Lavender fields are just beautiful. They give you a tour, great explanation about growing Lavender and you get to pick some to take home. They have some cute animals and a very nice gift shop. Everyone should visit!

This combo wine and lavender farm is so unique and interesting - how could you go wrong? The owner is hands on, the wine is interesting and the lavender products are nice. Try it, you will like it!

Disappointed 😒I just expected more based on the other reviews and the website. I expected fields of lavender and more animals. We maybe spent 20 minutes there. Not much to see. Not sure what all the hype was about. The gift shop was nice but...More

Lavender wasn't blooming, so little to do there. A tour was $8, which is ridiculous for what it is. To see the animals was another $3, and if there had been lavender blooming, it would have been another charge to get a few stems.

We enjoyed our visit, we both purchased a glass, kinda a small pour for the price. They are really into the lavender here, numerous products with or about lavender. They had a cute barnyard, but wanted a fee (surprisingly) to walk there, so we passed...More

This place was recommended by a friend. Since we was in the area we decided to stop by. We had such a great time. We loved the animals, the ice cream was amazing. I even was able to participate in the wine tasting.

The property is beautifully maintained. It includes all the lavender plants you would expect, plus a petting zoo and a wine tasting area for the Purple Wolf Winery. A great spot to stop, check k out, and purchase all things lavender.

If you like lavender and/or animals, this is a great place to visit! Although we visited a little too early to see the lavender blooms, it was a very pleasant and relaxing time. The lavender smell upon entering the shop may be a bit overwhelming...More

We are going to be taking a trip to VA from 2/17 to 2/20. Is WOLF open during that time and is it a good time to go? Is this location pet friendly (dog)? If so, where at WOLF are you able to bring your dog? Thanks!

It will be open, but the plants are in their winter dormant state. Dogs might be ok in the front, between the wine tent and gift shop. They may be restricted due to the small barnyard in the back.
Please send me more info on the lavender farm. What would be available to see in April?
