During our recent stay at the Homestead, we booked a family kayak trip through the resort. We have kayaked as a family all over the world, most recently in Alaska & Costa Rica, so I was confident that in tandem kayaks we would be fine...More

As an avid kayaker I like to hit up as many rivers as I can when I travel. Jackson River is in the top of my list for favorites. Wish I was able to spend more time on this beautiful river.

This is an easy way for anyone to get out and enjoy the scenery and the river. It's really more of a dirt road along the river. The signs at the entrance are not very helpful in terms of navigation. I think we missed out...More

River was beautiful, especially Blowing Springs. Water level were low due to drought, so we didn't catch anything, but still really enjoyed it.

The Jackson River area is a wonderful place to go with family and/or friends. There are multiple hiking and biking trails, great fishing and kayaking opportunities.

Nice day for kayaking. Nice guides. Wish we would have kayaked for the 2 - 2 1/2 hours we were told we would spend on the water. Double kayak have good back support seats.
