General Marshall was very important in the war effort during WWII but his role after in the post war reconstruction of Europe was even more impressive!

We learned a lot about Georgia Marshall and really now appreciate his place in the history of the World War II era. He really did change the world. Interesting that he was a VMI graduate.

Soldier, statesman and humanitarian, Marshall was a man for all the world. I had read one biography of Marshall some years ago, but it didn't begin to do justice to this multi-faceted human being. We are all children and grandchildren of his positive legacy following...More

Visited Lexington on a beautiful Fall Day. The museum does an excellent job of showing Marshall as a soldier and statesman; his 'call' back to service post-WWII is the most interesting part of his life and this museum. This is a small museum that can...More

George Marshall gave us so much with his dedicated service to our country. He was undoubtedly one of the most significant and influential men of World War Two, and the Cold War.

The man is a great American. The building is gorgeous and there is free parking right in front on the VMI campus. The museum had too many storyboards and too few artifacts. It's only $5 admission and you learn something in air conditioned comfort for...More

Came to Lexington, VA specifically to see this museum... A fine tribute to one of a handful of truly great Americans... It is one of the finest small museums I have ever visited in my 74 years of life...
