Good Wine

Stopped on a rainy day and surprised at the variety of wines. Most grown on the farm. They have very dry wines to sweet. Worth the stop.

We found this place quite by accident and had a delightful time on a rainy afternoon. The vintner was a wonderful gentleman who truly loves what he is doing. We had the full sampling and found wines that we really enjoyed. The gift shop had unique items for sale. The farm itself is beautiful with lots of wildflower sand green... More

This is a pretty location, easy access from I-77, delightful gift shop with wine-related theme, and sampling of up to 3 wines is free, with additional costs for additional samplings. We like dry white wines, and their selection of them was small. If you are a red or sweet wine drinker you will get more out of the sampling than... More

I brought my aunt to this winery during a recent visit. We were there early on a Friday & had the place to ourselves. The service was great & the wines were average. I did get a bottle of red to go but I enjoyed a wine slushies there looking over the wild flowers & vineyard. The winery has an... More

First and foremost, the wine is good, not great. It's a bit sugary and sweet for my taste, but it's not a bad sipping wine. But everything else about this place is fantastic! The staff was so friendly and nice. They were willing to let us try all their wines and did a great job describing them. We had a... More

What a pleasant surprise! Loved the vineyard, the gazebo, the tasting room, and the view. Staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We bought some unusual gifts and wine. Really a quaint winery.

This winery has a lovely site in the western Virginia hills. Rolling hillsides with scattered cattle. The wine tasting building is a beautiful setting with flower gardens, and a black walnut tree out front. It would be a lovely setting for an intimate wedding. The shop has an interesting and sophisticated selection of gourmet food and gift items for the... More

Wife did a tasting with a friend. They ended up loving it and buying a case. I was on kid is arch they had a huge field where kids could play and not interrupt anyone enjoying their day. Would defiantly visit again.

West Wind is a wonderful regional winery in Southwest Virginia. The selection is always being up-dated to some excellent new wines, while maintaining their signature wines. They host special events and dinners which are well worth your time to enjoy. I purchase their wines on a regular basis to give as gifts to my family, friends, and business associates. Plan... More

Great little vineyard nestled in the hills of Southwestern Virginia... An extremely affordable place to spend a few hours on your way through or your visit to the area. It is about 4 miles south off of I81. A great way to relax with friends.
