We visited Cave Ridge Winery with friends. We enjoyed the Viognier and the Syrah. The Viognier was very light and refreshing and the Syrah was a full bodied, delightful wine. We also got the baguette and olive oil, and the hummus with pita chips. Both...More

Stopped by on my way to South Carolina. A little off the beaten path. About 7 miles off the main road. Purchased a mixed case of reds and whites. No time for a tasting. Friendly service.

My only regret about Cave Ridge is that I do not live closer. As a wine club member, I am excited to try the new wines as the wine maker, Randy Phillips, releases them. Great venue to take a lunch and share a bottle of...More

We tried like 6 Shenandoah Valley wineries today and we feel Cave Ridge was the bang for your buck. The staff was great and warm, the wines were good, and the price point was reasonable. This is the only place we bought a bottle of...More

The wife and I have been here a couple times now since we moved nearby. Probably one of the nicest vineyards around as far as ambience, size and so on. Although there are other very nice ones close by. We enjoyed their hospitality and wine.

Is there anything fun for the children while we're there? Can we take them to see the vineyard, maybe taste a few grapes?
