CLOSED FOR THE SEASON! THANK YOU TO EVERYONE FOR ANOTHER GREAT SEASON IN 2017!! The VIRGINIA SAFARI PARK 2017 Season has come to a close. The PARK IS CLOSED November 27, 2017 until March 2018. we look forward to seeing you in 2018!! Drive along our 3 mile - 180 Acre natural park, viewing(and feeding) herds of free-roaming animals from your car, such as Antelope, Deer, Elk and Llamas! Walk through the 10-acre Safari Village and see Tigers, Cheetahs, Kangaroos, Primates, Reptiles, a wide variety of birds and much more! Don't forget to feed the giraffe and visit the petting barn! We're located in the Shenandoah Valley, a short day trip from Roanoke, Lynchburg, Staunton, Charlottesville, Richmond, Maryland and DC.

Absolutely amazing experience! Crazy greedy lamas that made us laugh more than ever! Animals seemed happy and healthy, amazing bird cage that you can enter and feed them. Loved loved loved this park, so much fun! Highly recommended! 😃

We had an awesome time at the safari park! Fed giraffes, goats, and many different types of cattle, llamas, deer and emus on the wagon ride!! Animals appear well taken care of!

Yes- the zebras and rhinos are in an enclosure. Most of the other animals are out. Also if you do the walk thru, at certain times the kangaroo's are out and you can walk the path with them.
