The camp is inside the forest so no network coverage is available and thats the best part of this place. U feel like u have been gone back to 1800 century. Couple of hours spending with elephants. Feed them, ride them and have a splash...More

I love elephants. They are such majestic creatures and have over the last few years researched them. Asian elephants are on the decline so to see them chained from the roadside made my heart lurch! I went into the camp with NO intention of riding...More

If you have a fondness for the big grey creature with the long trunks, visit this camp in Koh Chang. Here they let you just come and visit and have photos with the elephants. We often just ask before we go up to an elephant...More

We learned so much from these "camps", animal abuse at its best. We left and went to an animal sanctuary instead that actually let us interact and learn more about these beautiful creatures. We will NEVER try this again.

I feel somewhat guilty about going since there's obviously the argument that the elephants should be wild, but also they seem to be treated well. They really love to swim! They offer pick up and drop off from your hostel if you book with a...More

We were thinking of going but when I looked at the elephants looked distressed. Just do your research on how these animals are trained to allow humans to ride them. I recommend the elephant sanctuary in Chiang Mai where you walk with then and give...More

We visited to look at prices and conditions of the elephants. Soon turned around as they all looked so stressed and uncomfortable. In areas where they can hardly move. Wasn't a pleasant sight and we decided we wouldn't fund such an business. After all the...More
