Very nice, quiet, clean beach. I saw maybe 50 tourists during few hours. It belongs to some resort, but anyone can be at the beach between 6:00 and 18:00. -1 star because even there is sand, when i go swimming there were lot of rocks not so far from the beach.

We walked the entire beach and it has some great budget hotels for the backpacker and upscale ones for families and those looking for a bit more luxury. The best part is that it's quiet and great for relaxing and families.

Our second time here in 4 months. A nice beach, the kids love snorkelling around, just keep your feet off the coral. The constant flow of young elephants up and down the beach is something different for us. The kids loved the chance to see them up close. I don't really agree with the oversized tourists riding the babies though.

We stayed at the southern part of Kai Bae beach and walked up and down the beach when it's "low tide" in the afternoon. The sunset views are magnificent.

Nice beach, not crowed but tourists even on peak season. Better to swim in the middle (where they bath elephants) as the rest is a bit rocky. You can hire a kayak and paddle until the next island.

Whilst on Ko Chang, we stayed close to busy White Sand Beach and decided we would try and find somewhere a little quieter to spend the day. After doing some research, we decided to give Kai Bae Beach a go and it was exactly what we were looking for. Despite being much smaller than White Sand, it still had enough... More

Few people, extremely warm water, elephants (that for me is controversial, as I know it is not good for the elephants :(), restaurants with great food... What's more do you need?

Kai Bae Beach offers a bit of everything from backpacker to upmarket accommodation and everything in between. The beach is split by a river, with the southern end having the better beaches but the northern end having the better nightlife. There are numerous restaurants and shops that are within walking distance of most of the resorts along this beach. There... More
