Well worth a visit it really brings to life the mulberry harbour, how it was designed and built and what it looked like whilst in operation.

In the town square, this small museum specialises in the disembarkment of the invasion , particularly the construction of the Mulberry Harbours. Film shows are available and excellent models of re-enactment. For a little place it packs a historic punch!

The model mulberry harbor is outstanding! So much local information with a diorama slide show as well as a cinema showing unique footage of the mulberry harbor. The museum may be small but it provides so much information and entices you to go further afield...More

This provides a very good overview of the events in the area. In addition to land reenactments and other memorabilia, many actual outfits are depicted from many different countries. The movie at the end is very informative.

This is about the D-Day landings, but specifically about the amazing feat of engineering and planning that was the artificial harbour built to supply allied troops after the D-Day landings in June 1944. The Mulberry Harbour was an amazing project - a huge undertaking that...More

Although it can sound boring to hear about the logistics of The Débarquement, I recommend it even for women. Children will love it too as there are great models of what it was and the curator is great at illustrating the real life sized remains...More
