Whether I'm walking my dog or going for a run...i enjoy spending time at this park. Plenty of restrooms conveniently located along the main roadway. Always patrolled by rangers so I never fear for my safety. Trails are spacious and well marked. Always something to do from walking, running, playgrounds, boat rentals...and very well maintained. Nice variety of trail types and lengths, as well as numerous play areas for children. Nice park for a group picnic.

Had my grandchild's birthday party here and it was awesome. Though the restrooms could use an overhaul, it was an enjoyable event. I've been going to this park since 1974 and I'm amazed at how it's evolved. Try the paddle boats or go fishing.

Each year we make our traditional drive through the endless display of Christmas lights. It's a fun time and has become a family tradition.

This park has a ton to offer. Golf, Frisbee golf, bike trails, walking/hiking trails, paddle boats, and much more. We love to bring the dogs and do the walking trails. The trail we do is about 2.5 miles, a good distance for our dogs. We generally only bump into a few people on the trail when we go. I do... More

Hiking, biking, golf course, and a model airplane airport, this park is huge considering it is a city park. Nature center, marked trails, geocaching are the numerous things to do here. Plenty of parking plus they have a campground for you to spend the night. They were getting ready for their Christmas light show which looks to be spectacular. Check... More

What a wonderful way to spend the day! The park is clean and offers nice walking trails around the freshwater lakes. Fishing and picnicking are always fun if you take the time to pack your basket, pole, and bait. If not, you can always spare a few dollars for a spin around the lake in a canoe, rowboat, or pedaling... More

I love having this amazing park in our backyard. Tons of acres of nature. There are numerous trails to walk, and some right next door at the campgrounds you can take horses and bicycles. There are plenty of picnic shelters to rent for parties, or to enjoy sitting for a picnic lunch. There are a few playgrounds for the kids.... More
