I can not say enough about this lovely town. While Positano and Amalfi get the tourists and the high prices, this lovely city has it all. Great small restaurants and shops with genuine local people who enjoy what they do and cater to creating a great experience for you. We met so many that I would love to see again.... More

Amalfi is a town located on the west coast of Italy. It has a historic center and the coastal part. After spending some time at the Piazza Centrale Mİnori, please go and visit to the coastal part. There are many tunnels established for the inner connectivity of the town. Those tunnels are especially useful in summer time for providing shade... More

We walked in to the tobaconist between Antico Barberia and Cafe Europa in Piazza Umberto (Minori) and asked if he spoke English. He said you are in Italy, speak Italian!!! I tried German. He said the same thing more sternly. My friend said we are trying to speak Italian and obtain a bus ticket. He told us to GET OUT... More

We walked down along the board walk a few times and around the marina. Watched the fishermen and looked at all the different boats. The beach was nice. Around the shops we grabbed some cookies and cakes plus a bunch of fresh grapes and tangerines which even grow on the street for decretive trees. There was a bunch of nice... More

We visited Minori during our recent trip to the Amalfi Coast. Nice town and a pleasant break from the busier resorts along the Amalfi Coast. We visited the Villa Romana, wandered through the typical narrow streets and enjoyed a pastry and coffee at the Pasticcheria Da Riso near the Piazza Centrale. We could park nearby which was a definite plus... More

After having just visited Amalfi we were very pleased to come accross Minori. We were able to find a parking spot right on the sea front for only €2 per hour (v. cheap for the area).A very pleasant walk through the back streets and a lemonade, freshly made.Delicious.Sitting there you could people watch in a non commercialised high street watching mostly... Minori is known as the City of Flavour, which sets the matrix for sansory delights. Almost everything revolves around food. Its hard to to talk or think about anything else as you pass through the candy-coloured town. The old fountain on the seafrontis where generations of pasta-makers would dry their hand-rolled pasta on racks, giving it a salty tang from... More
