A short inexpensive water taxi from San Angelo brings you to the family run Mario's Restaurant ( one of half a dozen similar restaurants on the front) where sun beds and showers complement your stay. So lie back and close your eyes and with gentle waters lapping at your feet and beneath balmy October blue skies and you soon wash... More

Visited last week and had a lovely day. Best beach we saw on the island. Nice beach bar for a snack and a drink.

As well as what seemed to be builders grit there were numerous pieces of the islands ubiquitous ceramic tiles mixed in! The sea was clean and the boat taxi across were particularly interesting and you are spoilt for choice when it comes to places to eat & drink. However, in the great scheme of things this is not a great... More

We took bus 5 from Ischia Ponte. 25 minute ride. Views are nice. Clean beach, clear water. Not too busy this time of year.

This is the largest public beach on the island but unfortunately is nothing special. It is a mixture of volcanic sand, smooth pebbles and thousands of pieces of ceramic tile (nicely smoothed by the sea action). Around the midpoint of the beach is a trickle of a stream flowing into the sea. Follow the stream up into a rather scruffy... More

To arrive at the beach the drive is rather nice and scenic. Parking is available for 8€ per day or 1€ per hour. The beach is filled with bars/restaurants and their private section in which you need to rent a chair & umbrella. Behind all the bars there is a walkway which you can follow basically till the end. We... More
