Although not as refined, this castle is a very atmospheric Italian answer to Mont Saint Michel. Beautiful to look at and you can have some lovely time in the surrounding area and village, where you can eat some delicious fruit and ice cream

We found this attraction good and had beautiful views but could have been more. The rooms that you were able to go into had maybe a few lines about them in the wall but there were not artifacts or props to show what it might...More

Fascinating history, stunning views and lovely gardens The lift is a God send if the steps are too difficult to climb up. Allow around a couple of hours, the views across the sea are breathe taking.

Fascinating visit, particularly seeing the torture implements and was horrified by the Nuns draining seats. Great value for money at only €10 each especially as it is privately owned and the entrance fee goes towards the restoration. Could easily charge €15 and still be good...More

Impressive from outside, beautifully kept and arranged inside. Amazing flower arrangements and stunning views on the Naples bay make a walk through the castle irresistible. A must do on Ischia!

"Castello Aragonese" is a breathtaking castle. You can feel the history while you are inside of it. Some parts are unfortunately destroyed during the war times. It is the first place to see in ischia island during your vacation to ischia island.

We only saw this from the water, but even then it was amazing. Coming in from the ferry from Sorrento, you don't get too close, so it was hard to get a really good picture. Next time we will have to make time to visit...More

If you like castles - or sea views - this is the place for you. The castle stands on an impressive rock towering above the stone causeway that links it to the town of Ischia Ponte. The walk up the guarded entrance passage is interesting,...More
