A sandy beach with beautiful clear water which shelves gently and is perfect for children. The facilities are managed by Giuseppe and Laura through La Miniera where they provide an excellent service both on the beach and in the café/restaurant. The menu is dominated by seafood (as one would expect for this part of the world) - my favourite is the spaghetti vongole.

“Beautiful beach but way too crowded in July/August”

It's a very nice beach but the beach is taken over by umbrellas belonging to different resorts. They are so close to one another that it's like a carpet and you can smell the other people's sweat. It's probably better in June or September, but what do they do? Do they remove the umbrellas? I swear, you are on the beach and it feels like you are in London's underground!
