Our drive had gone to high school with one of the family who was at the tasting room when we stopped by. Very good deal, if you buy 26 Euros of stuff, the tastings were include. They were not stingy either. Very good wines to try.

Our daughter and her Italian husband took us to the Castello di Verrazanno for a tour of the castle, winery and for lunch. Hands down THE BEST winery tour I have ever been on (and I've done quite a few). Maybe it was the amazing location, maybe it was our hostess, Novella or maybe it was just a really good... More

I was in Italy for 8 days. Went to Rome, Florence, Venice, etc etc, but the day we went here is one of my best Italy memories. Don't skimp, do the full tour with the meal, and bring home some of the balsamic.

I had their lunch "Wine and Food Experience" since dinner option was not available during the off-season. I also booked a night at their farmhouse, so I planned to drink and eat all afternoon and relax in the evening. The tour was excellent, and the wine tasting and the meal were great. Their Wine and Food Experience for lunch is... More

We went to the castle to taste their new Chianti wine. It was a beautiful castle with great forest and vine yard. However the wine that they produce is not so high quality. The wine is bitter even though is scented. I

Awesome tour of the winery and the food/wine was delicious. I think the best part was that the tour felt small and private. It didn't feel like were in a large tour group.Tour guide was very informative and entertaining. Beautiful location

My family and I had a great time visiting the Chianti region from this lovely spot. Good service and a great location. We were easily able to bus into Florence for €4 each way with a short walk from our room.

Even on a rainy fall day, I enjoyed this winery immensely. Make sure to dine at their restaurant and enjoy the tour before or after. The lady who gave the tour had a wonderful personality and spoke excellent English. I felt like I was visiting a luxurious private estate in addition to a winery. Beautiful views as it is situated... We opted to spend the extra money for Dinner at the Farm, rather than just doing a traditional tour and tasting. The tour was very interesting and our guide, Maria, was an excellent host both on the tour and during the dinner. She took a lot of time to explain the wine and how it pairs with the different courses... More
