Part of your paid admission to the Nauticus museum complex, this particular museum is on the second floor. Few people were there--almost too much information, but in fairness, Hampton Roads has seen a LOT of naval history. Well organized and well presented. I kept myself...More

This little museum is squeezed into the second floor of the Nauticus right next to the entrance to the USS Wisconsin. It is just a few rooms where they squeeze in 200 years of nautical history. It is a lovely museum with lots of information...More

Located on the second floor of Nauticus, there is no admission charge. Museum is fairly small, but has some great displays for local nautical history.

We did the 2-hour cruise of the harbor, the museum, and the battleship. This can be an all day trip for the family. Educational and fun for all.

This museum is housed in the middle of the Nauticus, which, in my opinion, is good and bad. It's good because it gets the exposure, but not good, because it's presented in a drier manner than the fun Nauticus museum. Unless you're coming to the...More

Not only is this a free museum, it is maintained by the Navy. Wonderful exhibits. Every day they have official ceremonies on the Wisconsin (next door), and the staff let us know what was going on and how we could watch. Very impressive.

The HRNM is part of the Nauticus complex, but its a great stand alone museum visit because it does the entire HR Naval history and a great depiction of the capture of U-505.

This naval museum is on the second floor of the Nauticus Museum just outside the entrance to the USS Wisconsin. It is very worthwhile to view the exhibits and the staff at the entrance are helpful and knowledgeable.

It is 'free' in that it is part of the paid admission to Nauticus. Those two, along with access to the Wisconsin, is well worth the admission price if you are interested in naval history. This part of the museum covers the history of the...More

Until you stand on the pier and look up at this massive ship you don't really realize how big 887.2 ft and 52,000 tons is. No cost and you can walk right up and get a picture with the ship!

I do not remember seeing any strollers available for rent. I would recommend giving them a call to be sure!
